Be Part of the Solution
Unity Walk, a peaceful demonstration that unites the NYPD, public officials,and the community, enables participants to show strength in harmony, re-establish trust with the NYPD and raise awareness against all violence. The event culminates with a Community Festival that strengthens and empowers our community through education, interactive activities and open, honest dialog between residents, leaders and law enforcement.
Traditionally, over 1,000 immigrants, community activists, members of the clergy, politicians, police, healthcare providers, military personnel, people who have lost loved ones to violence and faith-based groups as well as local businesses, block associations will join us.
Route
The Unity Walk begins at the corner of Empire Boulevard and Flatbush Avenue at 11:00 a.m., continues down Flatbush Avenue to Church Avenue and ends at Church Avenue and Utica Avenue where participants are free to enjoy inspirational entertainment, games, and other activities at the Community Fair until 6:00pm.
Community Festival & Activities
The Community Festival is just right for children of all ages. Join us for storytelling adventures, puppet shows, exciting sports and biking demonstration, healing / meditative sessions to help release your pent-up energies and stress, food, beverages, giveaways and more. Adults can also pick up essential information and participate in a myriad of events.

If you're one of the first 250 people to register before July 25, you will receive a free t-shirt. T-shirts will be distributed on the day of the event and must be picked up in-person. Please present this ticket to the Information Desk at the event. No need to register for the Community Festival. One T-shirt per registration.
